Gnome
Small fictional humanoids or dwarfs that live underground known as
Gnomes
gained modern popularity in the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The Garden Gnome is often found hiding in the bushes, on lawns or in gardens and
some are bold enough the sit on porches. Gnomes have a history of mysteriously disappearing
and reappearing at another location some time later.
Treasure Hunting seems to satisfy the basic human desire to SEEK and FIND.
The challenge to SEARCH is inspirational and finding provides an emotional reward from achievement.
From its earliest days mankind has been on a quest.
