ETS presents e-Bench which is a Web based desktop computer tool for measuring the energy and environmental efficiency of a facility and comparing it to benchmarks established from other facilities around the country.
It is a mechanism to highlight opportunities for efficiency improvements and to indicate the potential savings to be made.
The following benefits are able to be achieved from use of e-Bench:
· An ongoing process for continuous improvement in energy efficiency and related cost-savings.
· Monitoring and Targeting energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions and energy expenditure. Reporting on progress towards these targets
· Identification of Best Practice. Adoption of Best Practice to achieve further savings
· Model the energy efficiency and energy cost impact of changes to a facility
